Anyone ever hear of these type of "smart drugs" before? I want to take them to help me on my programming studies. I have been studying on them for the past few months.

I started with ginkgo biloba and choline, but that is not enough. Yes, I am thinking clearer and much faster than I have beforehand, but I need something more since I am doing my C++ studies.

Piracetam!

I know my nootropics (AKA smart drugs), and read that noobs should take piracetam with choline (I take lecithin, a type of choline, which paired with any racetam is said to help out).

I'm suppose to be recieving my piracetam next week, let's see how this goes!

On this topic, are there any drugs that are illegal which make you smart. Like a brain steroid of some kind? They say we only use some small portion of your brain, so is there a drug (legal or not) that temporarily turbo-boosts your brain in any way (i.e. makes you use 75% of your brain instead of only 15%).
Illicit drugs already do this to a certain extent (i.e. the world’s problems could probably be resolved in an afternoon if everyone did LSD), but is there anything out there you could pop before an exam that’s been discovered but is illegal? But regarding prescription meds, my friend back in College decided to try Modafinil https://nootropicboost.com before the final exam for one of his classes. Next day we saw him, he brought in 50-page notebook which was fully written out in rap-lyrics and freestyles that he came up with. He said that he was writing the whole night and smoked two pacs of cigs. So you may be concentrated, but I guess you still have to direct that concentration towards what you are trying to do.
